It’s my 28th birthday today.
While I’m not really one to celebrate birthdays quite honestly, I’ve used this time to reflect on 28 lessons I’ve learned in the past year.
- Mindset is everything.
-
- Law of attraction. Vibration theory. Learn it. Apply it. Maximize life.
- Get your body in shape.
-
- I’ve been in the process of eating healthier, shedding weight, and feeling all around better. The energy I feel, sleep, and over all health has never been better. Also helps to have people that want you to be the best you possible.
- Teach people to fish.
-
- Helping people kick off their dreams has been one of my favorite experiences this year. Sometimes all you need is to give them a little push and believe in them sometimes more than they believe in themselves.
- Hiking the Grand Canyon down and back in one day was probably not the best idea.
-
- But definitely would do it again.
- Driving a tank was not originally on my bucket list.
-
- But once I did it, it was definitely added and scratched off.
- Find friends that push you to be a better you.
-
- And do the same for them.
- A mother’s intuition is extremely powerful.
-
- She always seems to call when I need her the most.
- Being an Uncle for the first time is the coolest experience ever.
-
- He’s also the coolest little guy ever.
- Good coffee is essential to life.
-
- Same goes for wine.
- Let food be thy medicine.
-
- Tried a plant based diet temporarily during the vegan craze. Wasn’t for me but definitely opened my eyes to my diet. And my continued love for steak.
- Kobe beef will change your life.
-
- And forever ruin all future steaks.
- Legacy
-
- What will people remember you for when you’re gone? Make a difference, no matter how big or small.
- Realize your worth and what you bring to the table.
-
- If they don’t appreciate, walk away.
- Intermittent Fasting.
-
- Buy this book, you won’t regret it. Lose weight, increase focus and health.
- Trust the process.
- Don’t wish it were easier, wish you were better.
-
- Learn to elevate your game to accomplish your goals.
- Dont ever say you don’t have time.
-
- If it were truly important to you, you wouldn’t eat or sleep till you took care of it.
- Once you know, you’re good.
-
- Once you know you know, you’re dangerous.
- “What is this going to do for me in 5 years.”
-
- Apply that as a filter, and you will become much more judicious with your time.
- You can always have more than what you currently have because you can always become more than what you currently are.
- Success takes sacrifice.
-
- They call it the 1% for a reason.
- Increase your groups of friends of people that challenge you.
-
- You can’t talk power moves and life goals around people who don’t have the same hunger as you, it’ll sound like you’re bragging.
- Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous.
- You’re living in a question.
-
- The more questions you have of yourself, the more you’ll know about yourself. You’ll keep growing.
- Vision without action is a day dream.
-
- Action without vision is a nightmare.
- The average person spends less than 1% of their time improving themselves.
-
- Don’t be average.
- Don’t try to go through life alone.
-
- Leverage other people and their experiences to shortcut your growth. I’ve tried to do it alone before. My growth went 10x faster when I brought in other people to help.
- Everyone needs a hype man.
-
- They come in clutch in the best and worst moments of your life.
Thank you to everyone I got to create memories with in my 27th year. I hope to continue to share many more with everyone. If we haven’t seen each other in a while, let’s catch up.
